Welcome to our B&B (Chambre d'hote) in La Fleche just north of the Loire valley
Our Chambre d'hôte, Bed and Breakfast or holiday accommodation (take your choice) opened in September 2005 and provides 3 seperate beds in a newly renovated building attached to the old Barilliere
La Fleche is close to the A11 between Samaur in The Loire Valley and Le Mans, it is ideally situated for overnight stopovers for those driving from Spain to the French Ports, returning home for Christmas.
La Flèche is a charming riverside town that's very French and has wonderful well-priced restaurants. There is an excellent weekly market next to the river Loir a tributary of the main Loire.
Winter and Autumn Breaks in the Loire.
Our home offers a large wood burning stove to heat the dining area.
In autumn and winter you can find many wild mushrooms in the woods around La Barilliere and La Fleche along with chestnuts and walnuts in abundance. We often roast these on our wood burner.
La Fleche and La Loire area does not close down during the Winter months. Walking, golf, good restaurants, wine trails and much more are on offer locally.
